Description
Heavy-duty pickleball net for permanent court installations.
The Spartan Premier is built with 3.0mm braided polyethylene mesh, a 23 oz. reinforced vinyl headband, and four rows of lock-stitched bonded polyester thread. Tension is maintained across the regulation 22′ span by a 47′ vinyl-coated steel cable, with 1/2″ solid fiberglass dowels and lacing cord providing vertical stabilization. Available in 36″ regulation or 31″ ball-pass configuration.

Material Construction
23 oz. Reinforced Vinyl Headband
The 23 oz. reinforced vinyl headband is non-porous and resists moisture absorption that degrades lighter-weight materials over time. Four rows of lock-stitched bonded polyester thread bind the headband to the mesh, holding the assembly together under sustained cable tension.
3.0mm Braided Polyethylene Mesh
The 3.0mm braided polyethylene mesh is heat-set to hold its shape over time. Braided construction deadens ball impact more effectively than knotted or twisted mesh, reducing rebound and producing a consistent drop on contact.
Installation Notes
The fiberglass dowels and lacing cord allow for uniform tensioning across the full 22′ regulation span, keeping the net flat and centered through extended use without frequent readjustment.
Professional Note: The 31″H Ball-Pass configuration is preferred at facilities prioritizing court maintenance. This design maintains the regulation 34″ center height but leaves a 5″ bottom gap, allowing balls to pass under the net freely to minimize lower mesh wear and simplify surface cleaning.
