    Tennis net headbands are usually made from either vinyl or polyester. Polyester has a more traditional fabric feel and absorbs more ball impact, which is why some players prefer it on hard courts.

    Double-Layer Vinyl Headband

    Unlike standard nets, this tennis net with vinyl headband utilizes a dual-layer system. The 28 oz. inner layer provides a rugged foundation for the cable, while the 23 oz. outer layer is fungicide-treated to combat rot. This 28% thicker wall of protection ensures the headband remains functional even in high-moisture environments.

    Double-Top Impact Defense

    The top six rows of mesh are the most frequent failure point in heavy-duty tennis nets. We hand-weave these rows with a double-mesh profile to absorb high-velocity impacts. This reinforcement prevents the premature stretching and mesh distortion often seen in single-layer residential nets.

    Tapered Bottom Tape

    The Spartan Legacy uses a tapered bottom profile to help reduce abrasion where the net meets the court surface. By limiting excess material at the bottom of the net, the tapered design helps prevent dragging, fraying, and premature bottom tape wear.

    Fits Standard Tennis Posts

    The 41’6″ regulation length is designed to work with standard tennis post systems, including internal and external winder posts. The net includes a heavy duty cable, 5/8″ fiberglass dowels, and center strap for a proper tennis court setup.
